      Your New Role...

      This role will support the Apparel Team in various aspects of licensing category management to ensure the team's success and growth. The role requires a curious mindset, encouraging the candidate to explore new ideas, innovate, and stay ahead of industry trends. With a focus on driving results, the candidate will support the team in preparing forecasts, budgets, and accruals, and analyzing data efficiently. Collaboration is key, as they will work closely with the Apparel Team, Licensees, and WBCP Legal to handle merchandise contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and import authorizations, fostering trust and teamwork. The candidate will also track product performance, leveraging their insights to facilitate the inclusion of products in impactful social media posts that engage consumers and partners. In addition, they will play a vital role in maintaining licensee contacts, coordinating event attendee lists, providing timely category updates, and managing sample inventory, all while assisting in collaboration projects. Their research and analysis will contribute to a forward-thinking approach, informing decision-making and preparation of compelling presentation materials for internal and external meetings.

      Your Role Accountabilities...

      • Assists Apparel Team in management of category initiatives, revenue plan, and execution.
      • Supports Apparel Team in preparation of quarterly forecasts, accruals, and annual budgets by generating forecast templates, making the initial outreach to licensees, following up on data collection, analyzing and making recommendations.
      • Collaborates with Apparel Team, Licensees, and WBCP Legal by creating, submitting, and tracking merchandise contracts; initiates non-disclosure agreements and import authorization or customs letters for Licensees.
      • Tracks product sell-in, launches, and performance.
      • Facilitates the process for Apparel products to be featured on WBD social media posts.
      • Keeps WBCP internal systems and stakeholders up to date with Licensee contacts and product launch timelines; work with the respective teams to update and edit event attendee lists.
      • Develops timely category updates and communicates information to broad internal and external audiences on behalf of the team.
      • Maintains sample inventory and manages internal sample requests.
      • Works with Product Development, Marketing, Publicity to kick off collaborations and project manage through launch.
      • Assists in conducting white space analysis, researching potential partners, brainstorming new business opportunities; develop skills to holistically manage subcategories.
      • Leads the organization of shared files and tools on behalf of the team (Sharepoint, Airtable, Box).
      • Assists and coordinates the preparation of presentation materials for external and internal presentations.
      • Identifies and applies competitive and industry key learnings and trends.


      Qualifications & Experience...

      • 2+ years of work experience in Licensing industry, a licensor, vendor, retailer, or entertainment environment preferred.
      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required preferred.
      • Basic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity.
      • Ability to take direction and assist team in executing strategic and operational plan.
      • Basic understanding of financial forecasts and budgets .
      • Strong collaboration and partnership skills.
      • Proven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully cross-functionally with persons on all levels, in person, in written communication, via phone, via video conference, etc.
      • Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills required.
      • Ability to create pitch/presentations.
      • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
      • Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project management.
      • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Well organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skills.
      • Ability to work well under time pressure and time constraints.
      • Curious, self-starter, optimistic and dependable.

      In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
